Vintage Victor Engineering Rc Car

VINTAGE Victor Engineering RC Car Data logger If you're a fan of the Vintage race car stuff from Victor Engineering, then this lot is for you! If you're restoring a vintage Radio Control race car, or looking to enhance an existing vintage car, this is the part you've been looking for to put it OVER the top. Long before we had Speed Controls hooked to lap tops and radios with telemetry, Victor Engineering in the late 80's and early 90's made the first on-board data-loggers for radio control cars.   It was so ahead of it's time and so obscure most people never knew they made it. These were super rare and this one is NOS, new old stock, new in the bag, never used.  I took it out for the photo's. Uses a standard digital voltmeter as a way to read the information. It mounted in the car and was wired in. Using the peak current in amps, (back then) you could use that information to see which tires were hooking you up harder, or if your suspension adjustments helped the car get traction.  Among other creative uses.  Like the "gas tank" ability.  Which put a blinking light on the car so you could see the light change blink frequency as the pack capacity fell off and voltage dropped. If you had one of these in your car, you were a serious player. It had enough memory capacity to store 5 runs  It kept track of things like: Elapsed time in seconds Consumed pack in mAh. Present current in amps Average current in amps Peak current in amps Present voltage in volts DC Average voltage in volts DC lowest voltage dip in volts DC Complete new in package as shown with complete instruction manual (a few pages of it are shown below). Don't let this pass you buy.  I haven't seen one on Pricetronic, ever. You don't get the US quarter in the picture, it's there for scale purposes. :) Sold as is, as shown.
