This is a great project that I just don't have the time for. This listing includes a vintage Tamiya Clod buster and a custom made trailer (The Sprint car on the trailer is NOT included, it is shown for size reference).
The Clod buster is in good used condition overall. It has custom shock mounts and a whopping sixteen (16) shocks!. The truck shows minimal wear overall and I could not find any cracked or broken parts. Both differentials spin smoothly with no binding or abnormal noise. There is some minor rust on the shock springs. The tires are good overall, but there is some minor cracks visible when squeezed, on a couple of the tires. It also includes an aftermarket tow hitch as shown.
The chassis is stamped: "1987 Tamiya RCC Clod Buster". The Body is stamped: "1987 Tamiya, RCC Clod buster". The windows are stamped: 1987 Tamiya RCC Clod Buster.
The body is in good condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs but there is one extra hole drilled in the bed of the truck. The bow-tie grill is in very nice condition with lights and lenses installed, but the wires are not hooked up. The 'Chevrolet' tail gate is nice as well.
The custom made trailer is made of wood. It has some minor cracking here and there, but it does seem pretty sturdy. The tires are a bit stiff and small cracks or visible when squeezed.
Includes stock 540 brushed motors and two standard Futaba servos. This truck is not RTR. Receiver, speed control and controller not included.
The paint jobs on both the truck body and trailer are not great. Both would benefit from a good cleaning and/ or repaint.
*To attach the trailer to the tow hitch, s imply use pliers to press the two componets together until you hear a 'Click". To seperate, twist the trailer about 1/4 turn.
