Vintage 1937 Briggs & Stratton Gas Engine Model Y Type #318954-RUNS

Good old engine...turns freely with good compression. I do not have the gas tank. The start pedal is missing, so I wrapped rope around the drive pulley and got some spark.....so I squirted a bit of gas into the spark plug hole....to my surprise it started......did not run long, just long enough to burn the gas I put in. I cleaned a lot of dirt and stuff off and it looks pretty clean, should be an easy restoration....very heavy....I would like to list this as a pick up item, but if you want to pay the shipping, I will  ship it for $99.00....it weighs over 45 pounds,,,,,or you can pick it up free at my location in Lodi, ca. between Stockton and Sacramento......if you bid and you are close to me, shipping my be less.......let me know your zip and your state before you pay (if you Bid)
