Tamiya King Blackfoot 2WD 1/10 RC Truck 58192-14800 +Box NO Radio/Recvr/Batt Vtg --- There are 113 Photos of this item --- NOTE the rear bumper is BROKEN off the body (the two black plastic body tabs broken off at the rear, a clean break, the tabs could be glued back into place, the bumper is not damaged). --- The right rear body post is not installed but is included but is missing the mounting screw. ---- Does not include a Radio/Receiver or Battery (in the attached video I used my own Radiolink radio remote and receiver as well as my own NiMH battery). The shown 2 Ch Futaba receiver is included but is not tested (it is also missing the socketed freq crystal). --- 2 Wheel Drive. Runs well. --- NOTE does NOT come with the remainder decal sheet (it doesn't have the full box art decals applied and no partial sheet is present). --- Has good working servos installed, the speed control is the old Tamiya type (forward/reverse). The brushed motor is unmarked and runs strong. --- You may have noticed the adjustable metal hose clamp around the front steering pivot that the servo arm connects to. I removed that to check for damage, nothing is repaired or broken, I can see it was added to reduce flex on that pivot assembly (the entire assembly is held together with a single machine screw with washer and nut on the bottom, the two halves of that assembly have a key/channel type design which allows for some flexing under high torque or sudden direction changing. --- The white plastic antenna tube has been bent at the base. --- There are a few small parts that look like relacements that were needed at some point (some ball/cup rod ends etc). --- The rear dog bones are undamaged. The suspension is original and is undamaged. --- One of the screws for the top servo/speed control cover is missing (there are 3 in the front and two in the back, one of those 2 is missing). --- The body has a LOT of edge and corner scuffing, heavy scraping seen on the top cab sides, front and rear corners, and noticeable scratches visible on most of the top surfaces. --- I didn't do any cleaning, some dust is evident, I get the impression this was probably run on asphalt rather than dirt (the box lid has widespread small indenting that you would expect if the lid was rested face down on blacktop, I'm guessing the rig was possibly kept in the box with the lid off and tucked under the box bottom when it was taken out). --- The red wheels/rims show some similar edge scraping, although the tires look good and feel good (not hardened or deformed). --- Manual is clean, a few pages as shown have some small stain spots. --- NOTE the box inserts are missing, you can also see how the integrated box divider(s) have been tore out from the edge. The box has a puncture on the lid as shown, also has some indenting from the bottom caused by storage. Both the lid and box bottom have no split corners or edges. Just some creases here and there but but looks "good". --- The bottom of the chassis has some scrapes and scratches. NOTE there are no body clips for the mount posts, also it looks like the side retainer for the battery compartment had originally used a similar clip. --- The headlights work (according to the box sticker was an added accessory, note however with the original 2 channel receiver the headlights had to be put in line before the power switch which would cause them to be turned on unless the main battery was disconnected (I'm not sure that the included AA battery holder is used for the headlights, anyway I tested the headlights with my own 6 ch receiver and by inlining with the main power switch. --- While everything will fit in the original box (the body posts would normally have to come off to keep from indenting the lid), but I plan on allowing an additional vertical space, with the lid raised up at least an inch to give room for more space between the inverted body and the chassis (turning the body upside down provides clearance between the axle post ends). --- I also pack to preserve the condition of the original box, packing in a larger box with packing. NOTE that the box itself is 23" x 15", my local big box hardware store carries a heavy duty double wall 24" x 18" box, I normally would never pack a 23" wide item in a 24" wide box however in this case the contents of the original box are close to the sides/top/bottom rather than the box ends. In addition, I will use 1" sheet foam on the box bottom and vertically on the sides as well as within the original box to create a bracing structure to keep everything in place and rigid (and creating separation etc). There will only be at best a small gap on either end of the original box and the inside of the shipping box. --- The whole reason for going with the 24" x 18" box rather than say a 26"-27" long box is it will make the dimensional shipping cost lower (and also allowing me to use an off the shelf super strong shipping box). Every inch beyond a certain size starts raising the costs noticeably and I have a few decades of packing experience (I wouldn't even do it this way if I didn't feel it was safe), I pack so a box can be thrown onto concrete with no worries about damage. --- See photos for condition details. --- Will be well packed --- See shipping options above --- Payment expected within 3 days of purchase (contact me if you need more time). --- The item description is guaranteed to be accurate but all items are sold as-is unless otherwise stated. --- I don't have a way to arrange for a local pick-up of this item, I'm sorry for the inconvenience
