The Serpent Viper 990 1/8 Electric On-Road Car Kit has been based on the ever popular Serpent 988E/989E chassis kits. Serpent has made many revisions to the chassis to improve flex characteristics and improved weight distribution. Get the Serpent Viper 990 On-Road chassis and experience true on-road precision.
The ultra narrow chassis has been milled down for a lower battery mounting position, low motor positioning, improved center of gravity, cooling from underneath the chassis, as well as improved flex points. These features and more come together giving you a chassis that can be tuned for any track. NOTE:

Ultra-narrow chassis

The motor has been put as low as possible by machining the chassis underneath for improved CG

Updated rear-end allows for re-active toe as well as avoiding any binding

Pivot ball height has 3 adjustments for fine tuning

Aluminum front inserts use an eccentric to change the roll-center

Front and rear roll bar is bearing supported for smooth operation

Narrow rear axles use steel CVDs for a durable drivetrain
