The Serpent SRX8-E RTR 1/8 Off-Road Electric Buggy is a great for entry level users to extreme RC enthusiasts. This buggy features big bore shocks, color-coded RCM shock springs, large volume differentials, hardened steel transmission components, a pre-painted and pre-cut body and much more. Serpent has combined many great features into this chassis allowing for great out of the box use. The shocks are 16mm big bore and use large diameter O-rings allowing for a super smooth and long lasting performance. Shock boots are included to keep the shocks clean and aid in O-ring longevity. The color coded, progressive, shock springs are individually checked for length and tension to promote consistency. Large volume shocks with large internal gears allow the drive train to hold up to the abuse seen in off-road racing. The transmission gears are hardened steel allowing for a high strength finish. A pre-painted and cut body are used for both easy of use and great aerodynamics. To power this buggy Serpent installed a 120A ESC with a small footprint and pared it with a 1900kV motor. This setup allows for a lot of torque while not limiting top speed. The transmitter features adjustable throttle trim, steering trim and dual rate. The servo uses metal gears to aid in steering performance. All of these features offer great performance and allow the user a off-road buggy they can upgrade and grow with over time.
