JRX2 TEAM LOSI 1/10 Sealed NIB 1988/89 Vintage Original JRXPro Junior 2

For sale: Still sealed original new in box Team Losi 1/10 2WD JR-X2! Following the success of the RC10, Team Losi's first vehicle, the famous JR-X2 1/10 Scale 2wd Off-Road racing buggy came onto the US racing scene. The kit box shows the production of the kit in 1988, with stickers highlighting the cars offroad dominance at 6 national championships and winning RC Car Action's BEST 2WD racing car. The JRX-2 featured 5-link rear suspension arms, carbon-graphite chassis, all-natural rubber racing tires on 2.0-inch orange 5-spoke wheels and came with a LRM Low Rotating Mass transmission. A later advertisement of the JR-X2 is posted (from the internet) for reference purposes.  The production run of the original was relatively short making this item a special collectible. This is the first iconic car with an iconic RC company. Such buggies rarely come up for auction in sealed unopened condition. The plastic box wrapping has holes on the front and the back and were part of the original manufacturing process.  This was sold as part of a larger vintage collection in Japan.
