G-Force Genova / Jegs Stinger…. 2WD Buggy 1/10 RC car created by worlds best driver Masami Hirosoka.
So my racing crew decided to go another route. My loss is your gain.
This is the famous GeForce Genova that was produced in Japan and then repackaged to be sold as the Jegs stinger in the USA and sold out immediately. (You can still buy plenty of spare parts from the Jegs website, or Amazon)
To compete, Kyosho then wanted a part of this new modern vintage buggy market, which is why the Ultima SB Dirt Master was created. Look up the YouTube videos of these two cars going head to head. The Genova wins 80% of the time. They fail to mention you can get parts in the USA via jegs.com
There are way more upgrade parts for the Genova than the dirt master.
The differences between the GForce Genova and the Jegs Stinger? The Gforce Genova you have to assemble , but it comes with turnbuckles for suspension adjustments and rear universals / CVDs. And it comes with ball bearings. The Jegs stinger comes pre-assembled, doesn’t have turnbuckles for adjustments, and uses standard dog bones in the rear and uses bushings all around.
But…
1. Any experienced RC hobbyist knows Turn buckles are easy to get and are pretty much universal, these can be bought at any hobby shop or online. I personally like the plastic links as if they bend, they bend back.
2. CVDs don’t make a huge difference in the rear, (only in the front when turning on a 4wd vehicle does it prevent pop out), so I do not feel a need to modify the rears to CVDs.
3. You can buy ball bearings to replace the bushings easily on amazon. Size 5x8x2.5mm , you will need 4 for the steering. Size 5x11x4 , you will need 8. There are 2 for each wheel axle .

If you wanted to buy a genova, you must of done your research by now, This will save you the assembly time, add your electronics, buy the appropriate wheels and tires for your track, and off you go!
This is a mid level high value car …. But since it’s in its own category, it’s pretty much the best.

Compared to the other Pricetronic listings. Mine is $25 cheaper, already assembled so that’s saving you hours of labor, 2 painted bodies, and plus this ships out of California so you’ll get it way faster than if shipped from Japan.
Please remember to get this running you will need a servo, radio, ESC, motor, and a 13t to 15t 32p pinion. (I will look for a pinion to include, but I cannot guarantee it)
A great option is the Pricetronic / Allstate protection plan available through Pricetronic. You buy it and you are covered for 2 years. If it breaks and you can’t find any parts for it, in my experience you then send the car back to Allstate and they fully refund you your purchase price! What a deal!
