AMS Racing 383 CI Forged Gen III Cast Iron Stroker Short Block w/ Mahle

Description -Reconditioned GM Gen III 5.3L cast iron block fully machined with camshaft bearings installed -Mahle forged pistons with file-fit rings (different comp. ratios available)(dish pistons available) -Eagle 4340 forged h-beam rods with ARP 8740 bolts -Eagle 4340 forged 4.000" crankshaft (24x or 58x reluctor wheel) -Rotating assembly balanced in house at our state-of-the-art machine shop -King or Clevite race bearings Notes Each short block is custom built to YOUR needs. If you don't see an option that you would like to get a price for(arp main studs, etc.) please email us. Let us know if you plan on using nitrous or have a blown application and we can set up a custom piston ring end gap for you. Current build time can vary depending on parts availability and can be up to 8 weeks. We like to stay in touch during this time, and will email pictures and go over any questions you have during the process. We can also build you a long block or choose a camshaft for your build.
