3 Vintage 1980's TYCO TURBO HOPPER Dune Buggy RC Cars And One Set Of Instructions. Two of the three cars have the bodies and controllers. Two of the cars are 1st Generation (big puffy back tires) and one of the cars is a 2nd Generation (low profile back tires). All three cars have been tested and two work or partially work. Condition varies from fair to good. Instruction manual / sheet is in very good condition. Made by Taiyo. CAR #1 2nd generation Turbo Hopper (low profile back tires) *Body is complete and in very good condition. The decals are good, has all the lights, and there are no chips, cracks or breaks. *Chassis is in good condition. Chassis is complete and there are No chips, cracks or breaks. Forward, reverse and the steering all work. When you switch from forward to reverse it continues to go forward for a few seconds before it switches to reverse. When you switch from reverse to forward it continues to go reverse for a few seconds before switches to forward. Bottom is scratched up. *Missing flag on antenna. *Tires are all good, No flat spots. *The Remote control works but you have to wiggle the ON/OFF switch a little bit to get it to work. CAR #2 1st generation Turbo Hopper (puffy back tires) *Body
is in good condition. The decals are good, and there are no chips, cracks or breaks. it is missing 3 of the 4 off road / fog lights (which can be replaced). *Chassis
is in good condition. Chassis is complete and there are No chips, cracks or breaks. Forward and reverse work, but the steering does not work.
When you switch from forward to reverse, it continues going forward for a few seconds before it switches to reverse. When you switch from reverse to forward it continues to go reverse for a
few seconds before it switches to forward. Bottom is a bit
scratched up. *Front Tires are good (No flat spots), but one of he back tires is flat and deformed. *The Remote control works but the positive terminal is about to break. CAR #3 1st generation Turbo Hopper (puffy back tires) *There is NO Body, just the chassis. *Chassis
is in fair condition. There are No chips, cracks or breaks in the plastic. Batteries were left in it and 3 of the 8 battery compartment springs holding the batteries in corroded off. Looks like they can be replaced. I put some folded-up aluminum foil between the the battery and terminal to make contact and got it to work for a few seconds. I think it will work if the battery compartment springs are replaced. Bottom of car is in very good condition, very little wear. *One of the front Tires has some flat spots and one of he back tires is flat and deformed. *There is No Remote control for this car.
